Our Great Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Sanderson became a Pook when she married our Great Grandfather John Pook in India in 1882. The hand written Family Tree below was researched and drawn up by one of Annie Elizabeth Sanderson’s sons, William John Pook b 1894 – d 1957.
The hand written family tree below is a transcription of the tree listed above, this was originally drawn up by William John Pook in 1953, William was one of Annie Elizabeth Sanderson’s sons. The transcription below was made by my brother, Kevin Barry in 1967 and again in 1985.
The Family Tree below was drawn up by our Great Aunt, Florenz Emma Pook, possibly in conjunction with her brother William John Pook who drew up the family Tree’s above. Auntie wrote up this tree for publication in the East Lancs Regimemtal magazine, the Regiment in which her father John Pook RSM, her father, our Gt Grandfather served in.

These 2 photos are of the same Headstone in Burnley Cemetery. They show the grave of our Gt Gt Grandfather Charles Sanderson and also his son Stephen John who was interred in the same grave a year after his father died. The photo on the Left was probably taken soon after the headstone was installed, sometime after 1893. The photo on the right is the same headstone taken very recently.

The copies of the pages below are from the Sanderson family Bible. The first page lists Marriages & the second page lists Deaths. As a family we have been unable to trace the original Sanderson Bible so far!
